User Experience (UX) Explained for Best Practice Website Creation
For this I went on to YouTube and watched a video on flux academy. The man in the video was talking about different website navigation and showed other big brand's website as well. He said that you need to give nice clear name tags on each page so that it will make people see and know where they are reading when they come to the site. He talked about user experience so people will not get lost when on the website. This is an extremely useful video for me. When using buttons you need to make sure that it is not the same colour. so it will be easy to see when someone is moving the hover interaction. He told us that the maker needs to stay in context so that viewer can understand what on the website. The image in a website should not be too big and the text should not go inside or near it. This just makes everything hard to read on the website. It is important to make sure that there is not too much white space on the image because the text will be too confusing for the viewer. He said small text are not good on the eye so you should have a decent size text.
Another video that I found on the YouTube called AJ smart. The guy in the video talked about practicing things that were on the scene and redesign it all over again. You need to follow step by step on all the work that was done from the beginning of the course like getting research. This will help design a solution so that it can be giving out to people. The UX design has many parts like making personas, this will also make people reach their goals and as well as frustrations in the journey. Brainstorming is incredibly good as it can create a good user flow when making the website. He kept on going on about usability reporting so that you can keep track on the user using the product. On implement its especially important for the designer for when they would make prototypes before getting to the real things made. It is a clever way to do all this, so you do not have to rush on the main website. Once the prototype is done you have to send it off to the big company so they can make sure it is good. That is what they will call a working product in the end. A UX designer can be a group team it does not need to be a one-man job. It is much better with teamwork so it can get the job done on time. Everything about UX is a process while it occurs in good improvement. I think watching all this has really given me a good knowledge about working in UX and it has given me some helpful tips for my project.
The last video that I watch is about CMS. It can manage the creation or even modification when making a good site. It is a software that can create different things. I did not know that it has text graphic in it plus some coding plays a big part in it. There were so many types of CMS like HubSpot, Drupal and Wix. It is a quick way of doing a website. You do not need to write up all the code. In the video you are just focusing on the business part of the website. There is a pre-set template that gives you a clever idea for the website in the video. It really helped watching everything the bot is doing and I hope this will help me during the semester.
